To monitor the use of this data or commonly called the estimated usage of data in English, many ways that can be taken. One way is by checking quotas through network operator services. Another way is to use the tools of monitoring the data usage , either use the default third-party software or operating system software built. One tool that is often used to monitor data usage is estimated feature of data usage which is a default feature of Windows 8 and 8.1. This feature can be enabled via the network menu, then right-click the WiFi networks that are connected and select  show estimated usage of data . Of course this feature is very helpful to know how much data usage.

As it is known that there are many changes in Windows 10. It can be said that Windows 10 is a combination of Windows 7 and Windows 8. One of the characteristics is to see that the Start menu no longer fullscreen (Win 7) but still decorated with Metro Apps feature (Win 8 ).

Other changes are the network manager to see that no longer meets the side of the screen as Windows 8. How to Restore feature of Windows 10 Estimated Data Usage

For Windows 10 users who miss alias missed with the data estimated usage features in Windows 8, we can restore it through the registry editor. Simply by changing some components registry and this feature will be back. The key is to restore the network manager to see Windows 8 on Windows 10. So, if you want this data back monitoring features, a new look Windows 10 network manager will be lost. But do not worry, you can restore them anyway to see the original, so this tweak is safe to do.
For those of you who are already quite familiar with the registry editor or regedit, please not regedit and go to  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Control Panel \ Settings \ Network . Before you make changes, you must change the permissions key Network beforehand because you can not change the registry's data on the key without user permission.
How to change the permissions are as follows:
  1. Right-click on the Network key and select permissions.

  2. Scroll to the user group until you find Users (Name of Your Computer)  and then click.
  3. In pengeturan permissions, select Full Control and click Apply / OK. Note the picture below for more details.

After changing the permissions key, click on the Network key and on the right side, click 2x ReplaceVan  then select Decimal  and change the value to 2 and click OK.

Once you change it, please check back to your Windows 10 network manager, then zoom back in to Windows 8. You've been able to turn it back on estimated usage of data on Windows 10.

You can restore the display network manager with the default Windows 10 to change back ReplaceVan to 0. To make it easier to alter the registry's data, I have prepared registrynya file which you can download here .
Extract the downloaded earlier and just select the display network manager in accordance with the registry file name by click 2x one registry file and choose Yes when the confirmation dialog appears. Select Win 8 to restore the network manager to see Windows 8 in Windows 10, or select Win 10 to restore the default view network manager of Windows 10. In order for this trick to work, you still need to change the permissions on the key Network. Good luck.
